As the weather warms up and more residents are outside walking, biking, jogging, and enjoying our community, we’d like to remind everyone of the importance of obeying the posted speed limits throughout our subdivision.

The speed limit applies to all vehicles, regardless of what you are driving. This includes cars, trucks, motorcycles, golf carts, e-bikes, scooters, and any other motorized or electric vehicles. Speed limits are established to help keep our streets safe for children, pedestrians, cyclists, pets, and all residents.

We have received concerns regarding vehicles traveling above the posted speed limit. Even a small increase in speed can significantly reduce reaction time and increase the risk of accidents. Our neighborhood streets are not designed for high-speed travel, and there are often children playing, residents walking, and cyclists sharing the road.

Additionally, owners and operators of e-bikes, scooters, and other similar vehicles are reminded to follow all applicable township ordinances and local regulations. These rules are in place to ensure everyone can safely enjoy our community spaces and roadways.

Please remember:

  • Stay below the posted speed limit at all times.
  • Slow down in areas where pedestrians, children, or cyclists may be present.
  • Follow all township regulations regarding e-bikes, scooters, and other motorized vehicles.
  • Be courteous and considerate of your neighbors.

The few seconds saved by speeding are never worth risking someone’s safety. We all share responsibility for making our subdivision a safe and welcoming place to live.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping keep our neighborhood safe.
