As your neighbors and your friends, Golf Manor residents would like to ask for your help. Many of you know we have a problem on our streets, mainly excessive speed.
PLEASE OBEY THE 25 MPH SPEED LIMIT!
This is a problem that can only be corrected with YOUR help!
As board members of the Golf Manor Subdivision Homeowners Association, and as concerned residents, we ask for your support and cooperation to help make our streets safe for all of our residents and visitors.
As drivers please:
- Obey and drive below the speed limit.
- Reduce speed around corners.
- Reduce speed near parked vehicles.
- Reduce speed near pedestrians and pets.
- Yield to pedestrians and pets.
As parents please:
- Discourage playing in the road.
- Make sure our kids know the “Rules of the Road”.
- Reinforce “Stop, Look and Listen”.
As friends and neighbors please:
- Be committed to making our neighborhood streets safe for everyone.
- If you know an offender, please ask them to slow down.
- If the offender is not compliant, contact the Oakland County Sheriffs Department at their non-emergency number and provide them with the date and time of the offense.
Remember, the Golf Manor Subdivision Board of Directors have no enforcement authority over traffic offenders. Please only contact the board members with ideas on how we can improve this situation. Any traffic specific traffic complaints must be directed to the Oakland County Sheriffs Department.
We want to make our neighborhood a safe place to live. Please provide us with your support and keep it under 25! Please take the time to share this information with other family members as well as friends or others who drive in Golf Manor Subdivision.
